Founded in Nagpur in 2020 by the Seth Sanwaldas Dewani Charitable Trust — a dedicated, residential place for the Sindhi community to prepare for the Civil Services.
There is a simple observation behind everything we do. Look down the lists of officers in our country's services, and you will not find many names from the Sindhi community.
It was never a matter of ability. It is a matter of access, of preparation, and of someone, somewhere, building the bridge. Talent is spread evenly across this country; opportunity is not.
Uday Academy was founded to change that — one well-prepared student at a time. A residential year, at fees kept deliberately low, that supplies the things a serious aspirant from our community may lack: a quiet place to study, steady teaching, and people who have walked the path before.
The day a Sindhi student's selection into the services stops being rare news, and becomes an ordinary, expected thing, is the day we will have done our work.
